Haemorrhagic suffusions in wall of the pulmonary artery

Haemorrhagic suffusions in the mediastinum and wall of the pulmonary artery, in an 8-year-old Serra da Estrela crossbreed. Note the multiple areas of haemorrhage, relatively well-defined, which present a dark-red colour alternating with paler foci, of gelatinous consistency and shiny surface.
