Splenic hemangiosarcoma in an 8-year-old mixed breed bitch. The spleen appears hypertrophied and intensely congested, weighing roughly 3Kg. Note the diffuse hypertrophy and the multiple haemorrhagic foci that can be seen instead of a single isolated neoplastic mass.
