Besnoitia infection in a 3-month-old Limousine calf. The skin of the prepuce and inguinal region was very thickened and alopecic, exhibitig several papular and crusty areas. Histopathologic examination reveals intense infiltration of all layers of the dermis by cysts containing numerous forms of Besnoitia besnoitii.
