Mesenteric cystic pneumatosis in a pig.
This designation is given to the idiopathic accumulation of gas in the
intestinal serosa and/or the lymphatic vessels and mesenteric lymph nodes.
It is a slaughter finding that seems to result from the presence of powerful
gas-producing anaerobic bacteria.
