The anatomopathology services performed at the Pathological Anatomy Laboratory of FMV-ULisboa include histopathological and cytological analysis, skin biopsies and necropsy examinations performed on cadavers. Cytological and histopathological analyzes of biopsies from the mare endometrium are also performed in the Laboratory of Physiology.
The samples sent to be analyzed must comply with the established rules. All material must be properly packaged, preserved and identified, mandatorily accompanied by the respective request form, properly completed, signed and stamped by a veterinarian.
