Goals
The PhD in Planetary Health Studies aims to understand and address the complex global health challenges, considering the interactions between health systems, the environment and social determinants. It will also seek to stimulate collaboration between health, environmental and social sciences and public policies, with a view to innovative and intersectoral approaches to protecting the health of populations and the planet.
It will train professionals capable of promoting health and well-being, developing multi-level (local, regional, global), sustainable and integrated solutions to emerging problems such as climate change, environmental degradation, social inequalities and pandemic threats.
This is a partnership course between the following ULisboa schools:

Applications are done exclusively through the Fénix Portal of the Rectory of the Universidade de Lisboa, within the deadline specified for applications:

Enrolment:
After enrolment, the student should present in person, at Departamento Académico of the Rectorate of Universidade de Lisboa, the identification document and the certificates of the degree(s) submitted in digital copy in the application process.
Students should enrol annually and pay for the tuition fee and school insurance.
