AL4AnimalS - Emergent Infectious Diseases and Zoonosis - Big Data

The Associated Laboratory AL4AnimalS is organising the first annual meeting of its Thematic Line 2, "Emergent Infectious Diseases and Zoonosis", under the theme "Big Data".
The meeting will take place at the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária, Universidade de Lisboa, on 29 and 30 November, and will bring together scientists, veterinarians, students and others interested in analysing data sets that are too large to be analysed using traditional methods.
The programme includes 3 sessions, imaging, omics and epidemiological surveillance, in which the aim is to stimulate an informal discussion and exchange of experiences on each of these topics. The preliminary programme can be found below in this message.

DEADLINE: 17 November
For members of the AL4Animals, registration is free, but compulsory.
For participants who are not members of the AL4AnimalS, registration costs 50 € and registration with the congress dinner included costs 85 €.
Payment must be made by bank transfer and proof should be sent by e-mail to Sandra Guerra sguerra@fmv.ulisboa.pt together with the details for the receipt: name/institution, address and VAT identification number/NIF.
