The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FMV) is a school of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa). FMV is a legal person endowed with legal personality under public law with cultural, educational, scientific, administrative, financial and patrimonial statutory autonomy.
The Mission of the FMV, in accordance with its statutes is "the creation, transmission and dissemination of culture, science and technology in the area of Veterinary Sciences, through the development of activities of education, research and services of excellence, for the benefit of society."
