Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

Part of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Lisbon, this surgical facility combines practical clinical training with high-quality veterinary care, focusing exclusively on sterilization procedures. The activity takes place in a hospital environment, ensuring high standards of safety, animal welfare, and technical rigor.

The surgeries are performed by final-year students who are completing their curricular internship, actively participating in the procedures as a fundamental part of consolidating their clinical skills. All activities are monitored and supervised by teaching veterinarians, ensuring permanent monitoring, clinical responsibility, and full informed consent from the tutors.
