This trans-European support network for beef production, aiming to address the sustainability challenges of the sector, intended to bring together researchers, consultants, farmers and other relevant players from nine EU member states to stimulate the exchange of knowledge and ideas at international level on four themes: socio-economic resilience, animal health and welfare, production efficiency, meat quality and environmental sustainability.

The FMV had the coordination of the national partners and involved professors José Pedro Lemos, George Stilwell and Magda Aguiar Fontes.
